1642 De Boisgelin Family

Radegonde of Rosmadec married Thébault de Boisgelin in 1582, inherited from her brother in 1608, and died in 1642.

The lordship of the town remained in the De Boisgelin family until 1772.

On October 6, 1671, in compliance with the orders of Monseigneur the Duke of Chaulnes, Governor and Lieutenant General for His Majesty in his country and Duchy of Brittany, we, nobleman Yves Ruffelet,

Lord of Ville-Helio, and Master Mathurin Macé, treasurers of the parish of Plérin, obeying the said orders, as well as those of Sir Gabriel du Boisgelin,

Knight, Lord of the said place, Lieutenant General Coast Guard of the Bishopric of Saint-Brieuc, conducted an exact search of noble houses and lands, fiefs, mills, and jurisdictions

within the extent of the said parish to deliver to my said Lord of Boisgélin, with the names of the nobles and commoners who possess them, as follows.

The lord president of Mesneuff owned the noble house of Ville-Sollon-Rosemadec, lands, fiefdoms, and tithes as despendants.

The lord of Boisbouexel owned the fiefdom of Port-Horel and mill.

On May 5, 1690, Eustache Charles de Lys and his wife Claire de Boisgelin acquired Ville-Solon, a "low justice domain."

On February 4, 1766, a Tuesday in Rennes, Alain Marie de Kergorlay, Count of Kergorlay (1715-1787), married Marie Joséphine de Boisgelin de Cucé.

In 1775, Ville-Solon-Rosmadec and the fiefdom of Boissières belonged to Alain Marie de Kergorlay.

Shortly after 1789, the Maréchal mill became a national asset and was then sold by the Republic on 21 Nivose, year 12.
